Kelly Soleau-Millar

“We believe that it takes hard work and dedication no matter where you come from, horse family or not, and that alone has paid off for our clients.”

— Kelly Soleau-Millar

Kelly Soleau-Millar started riding at just 3-years-old and has built her career exponentially since then. As a junior rider, Kelly qualified for all the major Equitation Finals as well as representing U.S. Zone 1 at the North American Junior and Young Rider’s Championship 5 times. Soleau-Millar’s first Grand Prix horse Master Man carried her from the Low Junior Jumpers up to World Cup Grand Prix classes.

Over the years, she has had many Grand Prix mounts such as Centre Ice, Favoriet U, and her current horse Cacharel, owned by Donna Vanderwoude-Dyment in partnership with Brook Bridge Arms. Cacharel took Soleau-Millar to her debut Nations Cup in 2017 as part of the US Equestrian Team for the €250,000 CSIO5* Longines Nations’ Cup in Coapexpan, Mexico. Kelly also has had great success in the hunter ring in professional divisions riding sale and client horses.

In 2020, Kelly and her husband Jonathon Millar decided to open Millar Brooke South as the American branch of Millar Brooke. Now based in Wellington, FL, she competes around the country in both jumpers and hunters as well as training clients in all three rings.
